Before the colours comes a bonfire — Prahlad, Holika, and the triumph of devotion.

Demon king Hiranyakashyap demands to be worshipped as a god. His son Prahlad refuses — his devotion stays with Lord Vishnu.
Panel 2
Hiranyakashyap turns to his sister Holika, who has a boon of immunity to fire, and asks her to sit with Prahlad on a pyre.
Panel 3
The boon fails her. Faith protects Prahlad; Holika’s power cannot. Good outlasts cruelty — remembered every Holika Dahan.
Panel 4
On the eve of Holi, communities light bonfires to mark that victory — Holika Dahan, the night before the colours.
Panel 5
The next morning’s colours trace another story: young Krishna playfully throwing gulal on Radha and the gopis in Vrindavan.
Panel 6
So Holi is two festivals in one: a solemn night of faith, then a joyful day of spring, colour, and community.
