Navratri Puja & Ghatasthapana

Prepare for Ghatasthapana and worship Maa Durga; follow your family tradition.

आवश्यक पूजा सामग्री (Required Samagri)

  • Clean soil, grain seeds and a wide clay bowl
  • Kalash, water, sacred thread, supari, scent, durva, coins and akshat
  • Five mango/ashoka leaves and a lid
  • Unpeeled coconut and red cloth
  • Lamp, incense, flowers and garland
  • Fruits or sweets

पूजा विधि क्रम (Step-by-Step Procedure)

  1. Prepare the grain bowl with soil and seeds.
  2. Tie thread around the kalash; fill with water and the prepared offerings.
  3. Place leaves around its rim and cover.
  4. Wrap the coconut in red cloth; place atop the kalash, then set it on the grain bowl.
  5. Invite Maa Durga with devotion.
  6. Offer lamp, incense, flowers, scent and naivedya.
